Bill Dodge Auto Group is Hiring an Automotive Technician / Mechanic Near Saco, ME
**Up to $10,000 Sign-on Bonus**
The Bill Dodge Nissan has an immediate opening for an experience automotive technician/mechanic.
HIghly compensated flat-rate shop with no shortage of work! We offer a full suite of benefits including a generous Paid Time Off policy.
Compensation: up to $110,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicating directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License w/ acceptable driving record
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Valid State of Maine Vehicle Inspection License
- Current ASE and/or OEM Certifications are strongly preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
